When we all think back through classic American cartoons, “The Flintstones” is no question on that list. For anyone that hasn’t heard of Fred, Barney, Wilma, Betty, Pebbles, Bam Bam, and of course, Dino, they must be living in their very own version of Prehistoric times. At the end of this past summer, Caring For Creatures animal sanctuary was taken by storm with their very own version of Bedrock. On August 29th, mother Betty arrived with a litter of kittens aptly named “The Flintstones” kittens. Little Bam Bam, Barney, Pebbles, and Yogi (there is always an exception to every good rule!), were born on August 9th, and arrived not long after they were found on a man’s property living outside as strays. Talk about a birthday present! Their mother, Betty, was also more than happy to be here. A young lady herself, she arrived in incredibly rough shape. She was scared, underweight, had a broken jaw, and still took wonderful care of her kittens. Five months later, after beating two different viruses, the kittens now have a clean bill of health, and are ready for their new homes! Even Betty is like a whole new woman! The kittens are all ready to go and take the world by storm. Watching them play in the Scratching Post kitchen is better than any comedy you might want to pop into your DVD player. Pebbles, the only little girl, is an adorable Torti who is raring to go, and can keep up with any of the boys. The rest of the boys are orange and white and buff, and are all as adorable as the rest.
